Scholarship Programs

SOAR Scholar Eligibility

To be considered for a SOAR scholarship you must be a KY resident who is a US citizen or permanent resident and you should:

  • Complete the NKU Scholarship application
  • Ideally have a mathematics ACT score of 23 or higher
  • Submit an additional letter from a teacher in a STEM discipline
  • File the FAFSA form*

*Scholarship application deadline for Fall 2009 has passed, however applicants who have completed the form by the
January 14, 2009 deadline may still submit the second letter and should file the FASFA form in order to be considered
